    As a fan of the late, great Diana Dors, I decided to get a book about her life. Written by Diana Dors herself, this book covers the first 50 or so years of her life. Starting with her childhood and her early days in the acting career, she went on to be an international movie star, singer and model. This book covers bothher professional and personal life. We all know that Diana had a colourful life with plenty of parties along the way. She talks about this life quite a lot throughout the book. But there's also the relationships she had with men, and her 3 marriages. No, she wasn't a very good judge of character when it came to men, I must say. Having said that, she explains in detail her life with her husbands and the 3 children she had.

    It is interesting to read why 2 of her sons stayed in America with her 2nd husband, Richard Dawson, known to Diana as Dickie. I still question really why she didn't fight harder to get these boys back to the UK when she returned there from the USA. But as it is, they stayed in the US with Dickie, and there is a chapter which I found quite touching where she tries to rekindle her relationship with her boys.
