    Lie to Me (stylized as Lie to me*) is an American crime drama television series created by Samuel Baum that aired on Fox from January 21, 2009, to January 31, 2011. In the show, Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) and his colleagues in The Lightman Group accept assignments from third parties (commonly local and federal law enforcement), and assist in investigations, reaching the truth through applied psychology: interpreting microexpressions, through the Facial Action Coding System, and body language.[3] In May 2009, the show was renewed for a second season consisting of 13 episodes;[4] season two premiered on September 28, 2009.[5] On November 24, 2009, Fox ordered an extra nine episodes for season two, bringing the season order to 22 episodes.[6]

    On May 12, 2010, Entertainment Weekly reported that Lie to Me received a 13-episode third season pick-up.[7][8] The third season of Lie to Me was originally set to premiere on November 10, 2010.     The Unit is an American action-drama television series created by David Mamet that aired on CBS from March 7, 2006, to May 10, 2009 with the total of four seasons and 69 episodes. The series focuses on a top-secret military unit modeled after the real-life U.S. Armyspecial operations unit commonly known as Delta Force.

    On May 19, 2009, CBS cancelled the series after four seasons.[1]

    Based on show producer Eric L. Haney's book Inside Delta Force: The Story of America's Elite Counterterrorist Unit, The Unit was created for television and executive produced by David Mamet and Shawn Ryan. The show is produced by The Barn Productions Inc., David Mamet Entertainment, and Fire Ants Films in association with 20th Century Fox Television.

    The show purports to describe the daily lives of Delta Force (called "The Unit" in the show) operators during training and operational missions, as well as their families back home.
